This is a combo that I believe will offset those games. Most combos center around a specific card type, but I hope to shed some light on an "all-around startegy" as an alternative to Cyborg + Indigo 1. This team gives you a little more ability to change direction mid-game. In the words of Floyd Mayweather "A true champion can adapt to anything". This team of Mister Terrific, Vixen and Constantine will allow you to do just that.

Mister Terrific is available in the JSA Crossover. If you are looking to get one you can find it here: http://amzn.to/2BZ0GwD

Once during each of your turns, you may discard a punch. If you do, reveal the top three cards of your deck, draw one equipment revealed this way, and put the rest back in any order."

His ability is what the entire strategy revolves around. We embrace our starter cards giving us fuel right out of the gate. We don’t have to worry about destroying them because we will need them for the duration of the game. However, the second half of this sentence is what gives us this particularly potent strategy. The clause "put the rest back in any order" gives you the freedom to do what you need to depending on how the game is going; it’s the ultimate in adaptability when coupled with Vixen.

It doesn’t matter what order your deck is in because you get to change it to suit your immediate needs. If the lineup is being stingy with super powers, or the opponent on your right is running a villain strategy, it doesn’t matter. If the opponent after you needs Equipment or Heroes, they are out of luck because with the flexibility offered by Vixen, you will gladly pick them up.
To further emphasize that this combo is impervious to garbage line-ups, let’s walk through the additional minor combo in the deck, Vixen and Constantine's interaction. Their abilities flourish because Mr. T lets you manipulate the order of the top of your deck. Vixen is going to give you an option for almost every type of card. Let's go through this step by step.
With Vixen you reveal the top card of your deck, and depending on what it is, her ability differs: heroes make her worth +2 power, villains allow you to destroy a card in your hand, super powers allow you to draw a card, and equipment make the super villain 3 less to buy. Constantine allows you to reveal the top card of your deck, and if its cost is 1 or greater you may play it for +1 power and that card is destroyed at the end of the turn.
For example: Assume that your first turn you bought a Kick and your second turn you bought High-Tech Hero. You then shuffle your deck and draw 3 Punches and 2 Vulnerabilities.
You discard a punch for Mr. T’s ability and look at the top 3 cards of your deck. You see High-Tech Hero, Punch, and a Kick it’s your lucky day!
Arrange the cards so that your Kick is on top, followed by High-Tech Hero, and lastly, the Punch. Next use Constantine’s ability to play the Kick for a total of 3 power. Now you can use Vixen’s ability and reveal the High-Tech Hero for +2 power, bringing your power to 5. Then play your two Punches for 2 more power, bringing your total power to 7, on your third turn. This is comparable to top tier combos for turn three, not bad for a hand full of starters.
I recommend spreading out your different types to make sure you are able to use Vixen’s ability to its fullness. Buy a couple Villains so you are able to destroy cards, a few Heroes to give yourself the +2 power, and lean heavy on Equipment, since Mr. T lets you draw one for free. If you are going to buy Super Powers I would recommend MOSTLY buying Super Powers that you are willing to give up to Constantine, for two reasons:

A) It gives you one less thing to think about during your turn. You will already have quite a few different things to take into consideration on your turn, its best to eliminate as many variables as possible to keep this system a well-oiled machine. So, you see a Super Power and you know what to do with it immediately.

B) With Vixen you have to draw the Super Power you reveal, potentially killing your Constantine for that turn. If you condition yourself to this, then when a Super Strength, enters the line-up you can buy it, and later when you see it stack it so you can use Constantine on it and you’ll have a lot of power that turn.
There are some cards that work exceptionally well in this system. First and foremost is Shapeshift! Not that this card needs a lengthy introduction because we are all familiar with its effects. You look at the top three cards of your deck and the heavens open, because you see Shapeshift. You line it up to be revealed by Vixen, and then, you earn your place in Valhalla. Shapeshift activates ALL of Vixen’s abilities. You gain +2 power, destroy that pesky Weakness in your hand, the Super Villain costs 3 less, and then you draw Shapeshift and play it. This brings your total power to 3 just from using Vixen and playing Shapeshift, and without considering anything else you can play from your hand or the other card you can potentially play for free with Constantine.
Some of the destroy cards from the Forever Evil set are well placed here as well. With Mr. T you can set up a Villain if you have Steve Trevor or Emperor Penguin in your hand to get a nice bonus from destroying them. Or set them for use with Constantine and then get +1 power and any printed effect from them. As with any other destroy strategy, keep an eye out for anything that interacts with the destroy pile as well.
There are some other points to consider while running this team. Don’t get caught up in destroying things with Vixen. I know I am the guilty of this. I end up destroying my Punches in an effort to streamline my deck, then my game is just Vixen and praying for Constantine to hit. We have a way to destroy cards built into our Main Characters so we can take care of any Weaknesses and our three starting Vulnerabilities, just make sure and save some Punches so you can use Mr. T every turn. I also find myself buying "draw cards" such as Raven, and Super Speed which, if not played carefully, will destroy the work you have done with Mr. T and leave you drawing your whole deck for next to no power.

With this new information I hope you go forth and conquer whatever line up the universe sees fit to throw your way. As with any team up, I am sure you will find plenty of cards that play nice with this team. Enjoy adding another combo to your arsenal, or at least give it a try!
"}]
